I made this bag as a reproduction of a 1940s US Mail Carriers bag. I found some drawings online from the original designs and sketched out what you see here. There is a middle divider with some additional pockets inside and a piece of 7/8 oz veg tan to add a little stiffness to the back. The bag and all straps are cut and sewn from Natural undyed Horween Essex tannage. This bag is glovey soft and does not stand up. Throw this one over your shoulder and show up anywhere…
